The hotel had a musty smell and felt quite old, needing renovation, but it was very comfortable and clean. The service from the front desk staff was always helpful and informative. The location was very prime, right in the middle of a nice shopping district near the Victoria Harbor. The dining experience was a combination of Chinese and western dishes, with some room for improvement. The hotel lacked some modern facilities.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were spacious, almost like a junior suite, and overlooked the harbor with stunning views of the skyscrapers on Hong Kong island. The Star Ferries were clean and nice, although it got a bit noisy during the Chinese New Year due to the mainland Chinese visitors coming for shopping purposes. The service was excellent and professional, with a proactive and friendly staff. The location was fabulous, right beside the scenic harbor, and relatively conveniently located with just over a 5-minute walk to the MTR. The dining experience was amazing with a wide variety of choices, although the layout was a bit confusing. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
